Dear Sponsors,<br><br>We have just received a packet of photos from the Khasi Hills, and are in the process of matching student pictures with their sponsors. We should have these ready for you shortly.<br><br>In the meantime, I have attached a couple of of the images to this e-mail. The pictures are fairly self-explanatory. The first is a picture of the school building and the students and teachers, the second, an interior of a school room, and the final, a picture of a student receiving a present of a sweater.
<br><br>We are currently collecting renewals of sponsorships. If you can, we would love to receive your renewal on Superbowl Sunday, 2.4.07 (Tomorrow). I have attached a renewal form to this e-mail; there will also be blank forms in the Fellowship Hall. We would like to receive as many of these as possible so that we can send the funds over with the wire that the National UU sends in Mid-February.

<p class="MsoNormal">As you have likely heard, the Youth have also undertaken a new initiative in the
sponsorship project.<span style=""> </span>One of the
Nongtarian students, Iahunlang (Yah-hun-lang) Marbaniang, 12-years old, was
recently orphaned.<span style=""> </span>She has been taken in
by a neighboring Unitarian family.<span style=""> </span>The
Youth will sponsor Iahunlang and aid the family in defraying the additional
costs of caring for her.<span style=""> </span>Her yearly
upkeep was estimated at the modest sum of $160/year.<span style=""> </span>The Youth will be conducting fundraising to
meet these costs.<span style=""> </span>If you would like to
contribute to her fund, your assistance would be most welcome.</p>If you have still not received your letter from your sponsored student, please see Patrick Malloy tomorrow before Second Hour. After tomorrow, we will mail them to you.
